Seressa Valdez, SUDCC II

 Executive Director

Seressa Valdez was born and raised in Fresno, CA. In 2023, she became the Executive Director of Aspire Victorville. Having overcome personal struggles of her own, Seressa discovered a deep passion for helping others and has been working in the mental health and substance use field since 2015.

She began her career as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor and, over the years, transitioned into the business side of recovery services. Her mission is to create safe, supportive environments where individuals can focus on healing and personal growth. Seressa believes in leading with compassion, structure, and purpose fostering a culture of accountability and empowerment within her team.

Seressa is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management, with an expected graduation in 2026. She plans to transition immediately into a Master’s program in Healthcare Management to further strengthen her leadership in the behavioral health field.

She holds the SUDCC II credential and is certified in Seeking Safety and Motivational Interviewing, along with other specialized trainings in addiction, trauma, and evidence-based practices. Her experience spans residential, intensive outpatient, outpatient, detox, and psychiatric settings. She has served in a wide range of roles, including Substance Abuse Counselor, Program Manager, Utilization Review & Billing Coordinator, Business Development Manager, Intake Coordinator, Case Manager, and Clinical Director.

In her free time, Seressa enjoys baking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Jo Ellen Douglas-Griffin

AMFT – ABH Therapist

is a graduate from Brandman University, with a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC). She is passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional wellness by providing compassionate, client-centered care rooted in evidence-based practices. My approach is grounded in the belief that every person deserves access to effective mental health treatment that promotes healing, resilience, and personal growth. I am committed to helping clients develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships—with themselves and others.

Guadalupe Garcia

RADT – Intern Counselor

is a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) at Aspire Counseling Services, where she began her career following an internship through InterCoast College in Riverside, CA. With over seven years of experience in the medical field, she now works with both adolescents and adults in substance use recovery. Guadalupe is dedicated, empathetic, and fully aligned with Aspire’s mission to provide top-of-the-line treatment for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders through individualized care, evidence-based practices, and a variety of recovery approaches.

Beverly Flatford

RADT – Intern Counselor

 is a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician with the state of California since 05/23/2024. Beverly has been with Aspire Counseling Services since her internship. Beverly entered into this field to help others reach their full potential while in recovery. She is dedicated to showing compassion, empathy and understanding to individuals who have been affected by the effects of addiction. Beverly’s biggest reward and highlight of working in the recovery field is being able to be a part of her clients recovery journey.

Kimberly Solis

SUDCC – Admin Assistant

Kimberly Solis is the Administrative Assistant at Aspire Counseling Services in Victorville. With years of administrative, management and customer service experience, she is new to this particular field and has discovered a deep passion for learning about mental health and substance use.

Kimberly is dedicated to helping make a difference in her community, connecting with clients,
and being part of the supportive team at Aspire. In her free time, she enjoys live music, art,
cooking, lego building, video gaming, fashion, bike riding, and spending time with her family.
